THE OUTSIDER NARRATIVE: Writing from the Margins with Margaret Murphy
Using characters on the margins of great historical events, the workshop will examine the outsider as narrator. Looking at fiction and non-fiction, including The Suspicions of Mr Whicher by Kate Summerscale; According to Queeney by Beryl Bainbridge; and Music and Silence by Rose Tremain, we will discover how successful writers make their chosen subject compelling. Choose a period you want to write about and do a little research – there will be plenty of opportunity to develop your own writing skills!

Monday, 7 November
6 p.m. for 6:30 at Linghams Bookshop, Heswall, Wirral, CH60 7SG
Murder Squad will be giving talks and tastings from their new anthology BEST EATEN COLD, and other stories...

Tickets £5 includes wine and canapés – as recommended by Michael Winner!
Phone bookings: 0151 342 7290.

More coming soon.
